A number of years ago, I got Brushstrokes for the first time to paint my kitchen and island. And what a fantastic job they did. So when it came to having my stairs painted, there was absolutely no hesitation in choosing Brushstrokes again. Derek made the whole process very easy and smooth. I simply took some photos of the stairs and sent them to Derek. He was very prompt in getting back to me with a price and a timeline, which I found fantastic. Once I paid the deposit, Derek booked me in and gave me a rough date on when hed start and how long the job would take. I found the YouTube videos very useful at making decisions on what way to paint the stairs and what Farrow and Ball colours complemented each other. A few days before Derek was due to start, he made contact about when he was coming and the colour choice. This was great at minimising stress as it allowed me to take a few days to clear out the stairs, landing and hallway. Now that the stairs is done, I am delighted with the result, my stairs is like new again. I was so impressed with the high standard of finish and with the place being left so tidy. Derek completed the job in just 3 days. Derek also left half a tin of paint which will be brilliant for touch-ups if scratches occur in the future. This was something I found useful after getting my kitchen painted. The extra painted made it so easy to render scratches as fast as they happened, eliminating the worry of trying to find a paint to match. So this aftercare gesture is greatly appreciated. So I would highly recommend Brushstrokes to anyone thinking of adding some life and freshness to a stairs and/or kitchen. Many thanks again to Derek and the team, who did a simply fantastic job in painting my timber stairs.
