I was in the process of redecorating my townhouse and a friend suggested I look into this artist , Cora Murphy . To say that I was overwhelmed when I saw her work is an understatement ! I found this print Starting Over , which, ironically is where I am in my life. I fell in love with it and it hangs on my wall as I write this. It makes me happy every day . I encourage everyone to consider adding her work to your collection , it will be in your family forever . Lastly her personal note to me was unexpected and an absolute treat . It shows how much she. cares about her patrons .

Heavenly work which really resonates with my salty memories. The art cards are perfect for any occasion and the beautiful selection of seascapes let me pick a corresponding emotion to the message I am sending to a loved one. The pack of 10 come promptly and beautifully packaged and the price per card is very good value. Its a real pleasure to be able to show my support to an artist this way when Im not in a position to buy a lovely big painting (one day!!)

I absolutely love Cora s work. I found her when looking for art connected to south Kerry. I have a beautiful print that is amazing quality. Her work is suitable in any home in my opinion. I ve also bought her cards. They are truly beautiful and again, super quality. You won t regret the purchase. They are suitable for any occasion and I also framed a couple of them. Cora herself is a pleasure to deal with, I attended her lockdown online art sessions and found them really enjoyable. She made art very accessible and really good fun while teaching useful techniques. Highly recommend you look at her work.

Cora Murphys work is a reflection of her generous, joyful self. Her seascapes, waterscapes and landscapes are drenched with evocative calls to Ireland and the Irish landscape. For those of us living abroad and looking for a way to bridge the room we are in with the the imagined home – Lough Carra or Casting Off Onwards will soothe your soul. But Coras work is not only a diasporic bridge for the nostalgic migrant, they are also calls to the self and an invitation to sit with yourself as you regroup at the end of a hectic day. If you dont have a Cora Murphy in your favourite room, you are missing out – her work is an invitation to sit and be – with joy, reflection and beauty. (PS … and if you get a chance to join one of Coras workshops and meet her, you will add an extra layer to your relationship with her work).
