Quoted my sister in Belfast PS2,400 for painting and decorating her hall, stairs and landing. Small hall, lining paper to hall, and painting over lining paper. Absolutely disgusting trying to take advantage of a Senior Lady. The walls were bare as I scrapped off all the old wallpaper for her. She has another quote for PS400 . Quite a difference. Avoid this person. Daylight robbery. Will be reporting him to Trading Standards. I have a text on my phone saying he did not charge Vat then when it comes to quote vat was charge. He also included ,any extras like paying for his staff. Nic contributions for his staff, paying vat on the job which my evidence will prove defrauding HMRC and vat. I have a breakdown of the many extras he was trying to charge a senior vulnerable lady for which was not needed by other 2 painters and decorators in Belfast. I am a business owner myself so people of Belfast please be on your guard for this person he will overcharge you. Trading standards and hrmc have been advised and they after receiving all my information will take appropriate action. He even tried to take the vat off when I confronted him. I have all the written evidence to back up my claim. He does have a way with words but he will try and overcharge you for work which is not needed. Joan Morgan. Business owner Wales.
