Staff are excellent friendly, always very helpfull really professional , lovley shop , and excellent delivery service, diffenly recomande archers castlebar for all building materials, and farm supplies all shop fantastic display .

My favourite hardware store. They've solved a good few plumbing and building problems and are very friendly when it comes to giving info and timing deliveries etc.

Desperate customer service, long queue at the tills, 3 members with one customer chatting away, another group of staff chatting off to the side while ignoring the queue snaking through the isles and no one else being served. Number of us left in the end, I went elsewhere to get my lumber. Shop itself seems nice but all for show apparently.

As a semi-regular customer for the past 2+ years, I have had great paint advice for a front door, good quality timber for DIY projects, and last Fri ordered a crate of firewood in the afternoon which they managed to get delivered on the following Monday midday after I had been let down by another supplier. Special mention to Tom for sorting the firewood so quickly and without fuss (good quality birch, extremely well chopped and packed and covered in clingfilm to avoid rain ingress), with a courteous and helpful delivery driver. They will now be my "go to" for firewood as well as timber etc

Although only popped in for a few items, my Husband had a question about how he was going to solve a construction issue. Ger was not only very helpful but took the time to explain thoroughly the best solution for his issue. Our overall visit was excellent.
