Rude, rude, rude. Very close to home, but I’ll drive so I don’t have to give them my money.

I bought a jump cable, never used, tried to return next day because after inspecting it it looked very bad quality (and it was very expensive), then when I tried to return, the guy refused. Is supposed that by law they should allow return of it, so I will check how to denunce it. It's not about the return itself, is because the rights of the people

I popped in to Ballinteer Hardware just to check if there was a local electrician who could fix a lamp that had stopped working. Michael who may be the owner said he'd have a look at it. Not only did he identify the problem but he solved it and refused to take any money! I cannot praise this gentleman highly enough and his well stocked, local Hardware. A great asset to our community.

When moving house recently I urgently needed to buy a handcart and went to this shop to find one. They are not generally stocked there but the owner, went off, emptied his own one - which he uses to stock shop and loaned it to me- not for a few minutes but for a week- what extraordinary generosity of spirit!! In prior visits to his shop I have found him to be hugely experienced and knowledgeable of the DIY/ Hardware world and very willing to share his ideas and advice! Thanks again.
