B&Q Dublin - Tallaght

We went to the stores to get the supplies we needed for our DIY. We were able to get all we need but there's one item that we were not able to bring home coz as per the staff it needs to be delivered, not allowed to take home at that time. She said the delivery will be Dec.5 waited for Dec.5 no parcel arrived but the courier sent a txt that it was delivered. Called the customer just after a the txt, they said they will investigate. Called them 3rd time to follow up and asked for refund but they only said they will email for the link. until now no update. Date of Purchase: Nov 17. Customer sevice sucks!!!

I have to come here to say how satisfied and positively impressed I was with the customer service I received. On the 30th of November, a Sunday, just past lunch time I went to B&Q in Tallaght Belgard to buy 4 products, I was in a hurry as we are doing DIY. Even though I had the aisle number for 2 of the products I wasn't being able to find anything as the stock was low and behind other products. So I approached this member of staff James (Seámus) who was so kind, professional and helpful. He literally stopped what he was doing to check the stock for the products with his scanner and walked me to each area and helped me find it. But as it wasn't enough, one of the products was in the correct aisle however it was high on the top shelf, he literally went to grab this huge machine that lifted him to the highest shelf and he grabbed it for me. He didn't give up when we didn't find it, he actually took the time to help me find the products. I go to this shop A LOT and believe me I had never received a customer service like this ever!! Big huge shout out to a young man working on a Sunday and still being so professional, helpful and happy, I miss good customer service these days. Please B&Q give this amazing member of staff an extra Christmas gift this year he truly deserves it!! Thanks James your efforts were truly appreciated.

Unfortunately 1 star. Website ordering promises delivery time and are not met. Customer services promises to promptly resolve. Then issue not resolved only to call again to be told that was wrong and they can't say when items arrive. Likely in-store better then online experience.

Always seem to have what im looking for, more then most. Prices are always very reasonable and products always seem to be good quality. Staff have always been helpful, queuing isn't too bad better then most. I would be a regular enough shopper and its my preferred DIY centre, also good opening hours, free parking and plenty of spots. There is also a good selection of other shops (Halfords, Dealz, Homestore etc) and a coffee shop in the car park.
