Valspar paint quite disappointing. Did not spread well over the wall at all, and it did not meet the recommendations of B&Q's own paint calculator on their website. Going back for more paint would mean paying double the price, as less volume is charged far more than higher volume tins.

Ordered a fitted kitchen from B&Q Waterford (July 2025) with delivery due August. Major problems: -Wrong cabinets supplied -Items missing repeatedly -Sink arrived damaged -Numerous promised delivery/collection dates where nobody showed up -Kitchen left incomplete for weeks -Refunds delayed until mid-October and only processed after legal pressure Customer service was poor throughout and I had to chase for updates constantly. I have now filed a complaint with the CCPC. Would not recommend buying a kitchen here based on this experience. Since I cannot reply directly to your response, I will do so here: Thank you for responding. To clarify: I engaged with B&Q through all appropriate channels over a number of months, including in-store, by phone, and by email. Despite this, multiple incorrect and missing items, failed delivery and collection attempts, and weeks of delays occurred. Refunds for missing goods were only processed after formal escalation. I have now filed a complaint with the CCPC so my experience is recorded. My review is simply to ensure other customers are aware of what happened and can make an informed decision.

I ordered an in-stock product online from the Waterford B&Q store with delivery. Apart from the automated emails, I received no communication, and the delivery was already over a week late. I contacted customer service four times, but got no real updates—just that the issue was "internally escalated." Eventually, I had to cancel the order, and now I’m waiting three days just for confirmation. Time management and communication clearly aren’t strengths of this company. This has been the worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had—and I regularly order from overseas retailers, so I have a solid basis for comparison. I cannot recommend B&Q’s online store or delivery service. If you must use them, maybe stick to in-store pickup. Personally, I won’t be using them again.

Ok I paid for a sink and tap on the 11 July spoke to customer care and it was a bad in counter over the phone staff English was very hard to understand,any way finally got info from a girl in naas store that my order has not shipped yet from the UK that they were having issues with DHL.Now bear in mind I found out that they have 7 in-stock in naas but yet had to be shipped from the UK.So from now on I will not ever buy online from b and q Ireland .Still waiting on my order if and when it will come gid only knows
