Chadwicks Roscommon – 1-Star Review Tried to book an electric breaker online as a guest; received automated “we will be in contact soon” but no follow-up. Called Roscommon branch this morning Saturday 29th November. First staff member took details, put me on hold, transferred me to Joe (hire dept). Joe asked for the same details again, quoted price for a small electric breaker, and clearly stated it would be ready for collection at 1 pm today (Saturday). Drove 30 minutes round-trip from Athleague and arrived just after 1 pm to find the branch locked. Only then noticed small sign stating they close at 1 pm on Saturdays—information Joe never mentioned. Screenshot of call time attached. Management may wish to review the call if it was recorded.

You’re one-stop shop builders providers and machinery hire place in Roscommon town. Have used this place quite a bit over the years and it is always a pleasure to deal with Norry for the Sam hire equipment.

I'm literally leaving 1 star because I can't leave 0.absolute con men. Never will we hire from them again and I'm not the only person to have the same stunt pulled on them aswell.Seems to be a regular con there pulling. Stay away honestly!!!even the builders on the job asked us why did you go to them cowboys there well know for the stunts they pull. Don't hire from them honestly and dont use your card with them either!! I'm not one to leave reviews but on this occasion I had to !!

The staff were very friendly and attentive and knowledgeable about the products they sell especially Pat in Hire Damien on Trade Counter and Marion in management create a wonderful team!!

Good friendly knowledgeable staff here. Large range of products for the Professional as well as the DIY person. There is a Sam Hire outlet here also with a good range of plant Machines and Tools
