I just had the most pleasant experience while returning an item that wasn't going to work for us. The customer service in both Middleton and Gory was excellent and would definitely encourage me to choose chadwicks again.

In my opinion is more expensive than other hardware shops, but you can find pretty much everything.

I’m years coming to this Chadwick’s for anything that i require the lads here are so helpful and friendly can’t do enough to help but today I had a problem with a work trousers that a friend bought me from salesperson MARY FANNING She told my friend when he was buying the trousers for me that if it didn’t fit there was no problem refunding me as he told her he wouldn’t be able to come back with it she insisted yes no problem he can bring it back that’s no problem now I comes back the following morning it doesn’t fit the did not have my size I Tryed on at least 5 and no look so I said I’ll just take a refund she literally replied I can’t the man that bought it has to come back the other sales man that was very helpful told her sure there’s nothing we can do his size isn’t there she was having none of it so I rang my friend to tell him the story he insisted for me to put here on the phone and I can tell you one thing her attitude changed very quickly but still when he was gone off the phone she was still hesitant on returning the money to me she asked if I wanted to buy a jacket instead Mary fanning is here name I will not recommend anyone to deal with her but the rest of the lads and girls can’t do enough to help I’m years coming here and I will continue to do so but I will refuse to deal with her again I’m giving 2stars for the rest of the Lads especially DAVID LAWLOR thanks buddy for all your help

Often visit for home maintenance, repairs and upgrades. Its great to have such a well stocked hardware nearby. The parking is excellent. The choice is good and staff usually professional and knowledgeable. Pricing is on the expensive side which is why I removed a star. Website stock also accurate which can be very helpful.
