Crown Decorating Centre

Arrived 7 minutes before closing to buy a single paint tester. The door was open, staff were chatting, barely acknowledged me before someone abruptly said they were closed. I said I only needed one tester and I'd be gone immediately, but was told the tills were already shut. No explanation, no courtesy. Apart from that brief dismissal, staff continued their banter as if I wasn’t there... even though I might've just been browsing or grabbing a sample. I understand not wanting customers right before closing, but if you’re open until 5, open should mean open. It makes no sense to refuse service seven min. early while being paid and literally standing there chatting. Working people rely on posted opening hours, especially when traffic and schedules leave very little flexibility, and sometimes those last few mins are the only chance to grab something simple. The issue wasn’t even the refusal but the dismissive attitude and blatant disregard for customers. Based on this and similar experiences shared by others I know, this doesn’t seem isolated. I won’t be returning based on this experience.

Absolutely fantastic service today from Deyna! She was very knowledgeable and helpful which made the experience much easier, we got exactly what we needed in no time and she gave us great advice on diluting the paint, can’t fault her will 100% be back again!

Fantastic service! Having moved back to Ireland after years overseas I have found that some huge national brands and state utilities really drop the ball, however the service delivered by Simon at Crown Decorating Centre Letterkenny has been absolutely great.
