I couldn’t rate JMR highly enough! Jan and everyone we dealt with were absolutely super. I bought flooring for my whole house, tiles for the kitchen backsplash and decorative items, am I’m in love with everything I got. The selection and quality available are second to none.
We worked with JMR House to Home to supply our bathware, supply and fit all our tiles and wooden flooring for our new build this year. We couldn’t be happier with the service we received: the style advice and the help we got every step of the way, when we had so many decisions to make, was invaluable. And then of course there’s the quality: everything they supplied and a top notch quality and our bathrooms look fantastic. Everybody was always happy to help us and to give advice even on things we didn’t actually buy from them. They were all genuinely looking to help us get the most out of our build. Also really happy with the tiling and flooring service. They did a great job and we couldn’t be more pleased. Now that we’ve moved in and are local, we will continue to shop there for all kinds of homeware. The owners have exquisite taste and always get in lovely things.
Impressed with the showroom but that's all. Staff not very willing to help, actually I would say they have a cold attitude. I didn't see at least a small smile on a face. Probably they are very bad paid and left their smiles home. Everything we tried to order it was "special order" (yeah, right!) and we're told need to pay extra €200 to get them from their supplier. Plus delivery in Mallow charge. Price up to the sky as well. So, we went in Cork and got no extra "special order" fees and local delivery fees. In total we got at least €1500 cheaper in Cork. Their policy to sell is just to bilk you out of your money. Guys, Cork is only 20 mins away!!! Be aware! Change your attitude. I wouldn't recommend.
Frustrating place to visit. Walked around for 5 to 10 mins and not one sales personnel asked us did we need help. All stuck in there phones. If they worked for me I would fire them all.
