I started working with Louise 9 years ago, shortly after we purchased our first family home. I had a good sense of what I wanted to do with the interiors, but with a small baby and a busy work schedule I needed some support to pull it all together. Louise got to know our family's needs, wishes and style, and developed and implemented a design plan to make the new house feel like home and function for our growing family. We've since built a custom family home and couldn't have done it without Louise. The number of decisions that need to be made with a new construction house can be overwhelming! We were so glad to have Louise by our side from the very beginning, knowing we could trust her opinion and design expertise to make confident decisions on every detail. Louise really cared about our home. She was instrumental in so many decisions that really mattered for our home - paint colors, tile selection, hardware selections, lighting selections, rugs, and so on. She is also willing to work with clients in the way that suits them best - often times, Louise would share options, and oftentimes, I would do the research, narrow down to a few options and Louise would guide me. She is honest, and will give you input that she really believes in - and she truly cares about her clients. Most recently we've worked remotely with Louise to design the open-plan area of our family vacation home while the house was still under construction. Using our builder's measurements, Louise created detailed floor plans and a design scheme that included everything we wanted: all furniture, lighting, artwork, window treatments, rugs, coffee table books and accessories. She followed our brief and delivered exactly what we were dreaming of. There were several pieces of furniture with thoughtful details that made us smile because we knew we would never have thought of that idea by ourselves.
