Lux lighting

We had a horrendous experience with this company. Having viewed their online store, we called to the showroom and none of the lights or fittings we were looking at were available to view. We ordered from them having been told that we would be able to return the items if we were not happy with them, once we hadn't used them. We received the items and the colour wasn't what we had thought it would be so we brought them back to the store within the 28 days as per their policy. The fittings were in 5 boxes (3 of one light and 2 of another light) we only opened 1 of each light box to check. There was no need to open the other boxes. We were asked by the lady working how we knew they weren't the right colour if we hadn't opened all the boxes. After returning the boxes to the store we heard nothing for over 3 weeks. We then contacted them to see where the refund was at. We were told we would only be refunded the money for the 3 unopened boxed items. The 2 opened boxes had a little bit of ripped plastic on one and a torn envelope on the other. We offered to replace both the plastic and the envelope to be told that this wasnt possible. The owner was very ignorant on email so I rang him to try and speak to him about this issue. He roared down the phone, refused to listen to any of my points and hung up. The matter was referred on and we ended up getting a partial refund for the 2 boxed lights. We were docked over €100 for a piece of torn cardboard and a torn corner of an envelope. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Their customer service was shocking and extremely disappointing.

I went out to LUX lighting in Tramore today and met Collette and John .My God the service I received was exceptional. Friendly and so helpful.With their help and expertise I picked lights for my front hall,living room and bedroom.Delighted with my lighting shopping today and so sleek.Thank you guy's and see you soon

I had the pleasure of dealing with LUX lighting recently and look forward to visiting them again soon. They have a great selection of beautiful lights on display. Their displays are really well done, and unlike other light shops, it is not cluttered. Collette and John are really nice, very helpful, and informative. I highly recommend them if you're in the market for lights.

Great service, I never went to the store, rang and got all the info I needed. The lights I wanted were not listed on the site, but they quickly added them to the site to allow me to order. The lights were delivered within a week. Much better price for same lights than other retailers,. Highly recommend!!

Excellent range of lighting. Very friendly and helpful. Would not go past John and Collette for lighting needs. Highly recommend this localy owned family run business.
