During my recent trip to Ireland, as soon as I arrived in Dublin, I rented a car at the airport and, as often happens, stopped in a charming village for a pub break. Everything was going smoothly until I tried to drive my car again and... nothing. It wouldn't start. Thinking the remote control battery was dead, I went to this hardware store to find a solution. The owner, a true guardian angel, not only provided me with the battery but also offered to replace it himself. Unfortunately, however, once I returned to the car, the situation hadn't improved. Panicking, I returned to the shop and, with desperation written on my face, asked for help again. With rare kindness and helpfulness, the owner left the shop and came with me to figure out what was happening. After patiently investigating, he discovered that my hybrid car (my first time driving one!) didn't need to be audible to start: it could also be started in electric mode, if the batteries were charged. With great dedication, he searched for information online, translated everything with Google Translate, and didn't leave me until I was sure I could drive off again. Thanks to him, my trip to Ireland went smoothly, and now, back home, I've persistently searched for this shop because I feel the need to thank him publicly. We would truly live in a better world if there were more people like him: not only does he sell excellent products, but he also offers impeccable customer service, brimming with genuine kindness. I recommend this hardware store to anyone in the area who needs something. You can be sure that you'll find not only what you're looking for, but also sincere and competent help!

Needed some advice on a small but tricky DIY job. Got brilliant advice and all I needed in stock. Well worth a visit.

I was in Monaghan & needed mouse traps, all the hardware stores were closed on Saturday afternoon & Quinn's were the nearest. A quick phone call & I headed to Ballybay, got everything I needed for the mouse problem and a lot more. Great shop, great service with everything you could possibly need.
