Screwfix Dublin - Sandyford

Easy place to shop, but different branches, like Sandyford, often have no stock. I hope they can manage inventory more evenly across all locations. That said, it’s still the best place to buy what you need.

I've dealt with a couple of screwfix around Dublin and this is definitely the worst. Some members of staff are very helpful. But then you get the complete opposite extremely unhelpful. There's about 3 tills but there is never enough staff. I ordered radiators got the text that the order was ready for collection went into collect but the radiators were not there staff apologised and then reordered. Got called in again when I went to collect the radiators they were damaged had to order again. And if you shop around in the general hardware stores Screwfix is NOT cheap. And the general quality of the products are Chinese rubbish The only benefit about Screwfix is it's open late and it's open during the weekend. this is the only reason why I use it

Ordered some security lights online- payment went through. Free delivery. Subsequently, I received a call from the UK to say they could not be delivered for "Security Reasons" no other explanation given.I can only assume this order was a costly delivery or post Brexit customs issue for screwfix.ie which is just a front for Screwfix.uk - unless you buy in-store. Never again.

I don’t like to leave negative reviews for companies but unfortunately things have gone downhill for this branch. I’ve have shopped here from the very start and we buy alot of materials for different jobs I especially found the click and collect service fantastic as I can collect supplies at the weekend and am ready for the start of the week. The poor staff are run ragged, at the shop on Sunday there was two on the till and 20 people in the queue. There was several more outside than left the shop as it was too busy. My order was quite large so they were down to one staff member while my order was being picked . I asked was there no extra staff to help out and was informed that there was none This is a fantastic shop when you have more people there. Please pass on this to management so they don’t lose loyal customers

Enjoy DIY for my home and found SCREWFIX with The Click & Collect service is great, and at the Sandyford warehouse store, you can check out the items and staff are friendly.
