Great shop. Old world curiosity shop. Owners are great, friendly, good humoured and super helpful, as are all the staff. Who take time to assist you and find what you need. Always a few kind words and an inquiry as to how you are. A pleasure to enter and a great place to wander between the shelves and aisles, perusing the huge and varied selection of stock. From plants to paints, household goods to gardening, they have the lot. Great shop. A boon in Boyle.

A very traditional old-world hardware shop with everything in stock in a small space. Unlike the big chains it's not a sprawling warehouse and the staff know where things are and what they're for. It's nice that shops like this are still with us

Great value in this store. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Staff will carry heavy products out to your cat for you! You don't get this service in many places today!!!

Stepping into Sloan's hardware shop is a step back to bygone years, but its a stunning place to shop. Their pricing is as good as the big town chains but customers receive the benefit of good local advice and service. Always a pleasure to shop in Sloan's. If I need anything hardware, kitchen or garden I always check here first.
