The Carpentry Store

This is an absolute gem of a place. It is a bit difficult to find initially but once you have you will be delighted to have made the effort. Family owned and run it’s a haven for anyone even remotely interested in working with wood. They have extensive knowledge and no question is too silly. They run wonderful workshops upstairs. Visit this place and you won’t forget it.

What a super super store for anyone with an interest in woodworking of any kind. You name it and this shop has it. It's simply an Aladdin’s cave for woodworking professionals and hobbyists. From a sheet of sandpaper to a turner's lathe, you name it and they probably have it. Plus they're nice people. Thank you.

If anything the assistants you get while looking for any information make this a resource you shouldn't miss out on.

I ordered a set of chisels and some other bits from here yesterday for the first time. I was expecting to wait about a week for it, but it was on my doorstep under 24h later! Including a little sample item related to what I ordered, which shows it was packed by someone who cares about the customer. Will definitely be ordering for them again. Thank you
