Stopped in for food. Absolutely horrible. Place was really dirty, tables were filthy, had to ask to have it cleaned. Got some form of a ham ciabatta. It was dry and horrible. Also got sausage rolls, they could be bounced off the floor, son got spice box which was okay. Pity because the shop is fabulous but this restaurant is really bringing down the tone. Wouldn't recommend to anyone!

Sadly can't rate this cafe at all. It was really dirty and the food was dreadful. I ordered a panini which had a stale old piece of bread inside as a filling!? Then was offered a piece of pie to make up for it which arrived with hair in it. Would never recommend this place to eat or even for a coffee.

Fantastic store, lovely atmosphere and the staff of the store is really helpful and friendly, and this is sadly where it stops...We were so excited for the new café unfortunately we were very disappointed. We got some sort of a sorry excuse for a hamburger- the bread was so stale that I couldn't cut it with the knife- I wish I was exaggerating- the price 8.95...The side was just cabbage drizzled with ketchup...the chip is separate, which is ok and it was actually nice. Espresso macchiato was served as straight espresso...Definitely will be visiting the shop only.

Shocken bad!!, I don't normally give bad reviews only good ones but this cafe is an absolute shame.. ordered a mini breakfast and the poached egg was still raw, the rasher was burnt to a crisp and the coffee tasted terrible. I just left.. an got a better breakfast in a petrol station just down the road for half the price. No excuse. Zero starts is it were possible. 0/5......

The King Oak is a strange one. On the one hand, it's a shop with lots of accessories to make your home feel more comfortable and also typical wedding presents. On the other hand, it's a café with lots of sweet stuff but also all-day breakfast, sandwiches and a few warm options. They also have an extensive kids menu and a kids corner which parents can easily oversee. The food came quick but was well presented and in decent quality and quantity. The staff were very friendly. Overall, as a family with two young preschool kids, this is a great place for a small meal where adults can stay for a chat while the kids play in a safe area. We will come back.
