Been using Tjs in Arklow for years. Always excellent service in the shop and in the yard to the lads delivering . Today I was in a hurry and litterly grabbed a tool and had to run and the staff looked after it while I got back to my job. It's this understanding that makes my jobs run smoothly. .

Good builders providers, hardware and home and garden store.. Staff always helpful.. They have a good paint, outdoor garden, hardware, tool section too.. They also have a tool hire place next door

Lads on the yard packing trucks are a joke. How do you mess up an order more than once. Sent cheap chicken wire in a completely different size when we ordered sheep wire and Forgot 12 fence posts. Told they would be sent straight out the next day so that was fine. They arrive the next day again with 11 posts and no wire, 1 post missing. Absolutely ridiculous. Told will have to wait till next week sometime. Saying oh the lads didn't know about the wire, when I was beside the driver when he rang them and told them the first time. And the docket the second delivery driver was given literally had written on it wrong wire sent! Something seriously wrong with the way the place is managed.

Good selection and prices are OK. If you have any questions, ask to speak to Patrick. This guy not only knows his stuff, he is very helpful and lovely to deal with, a real asset to the store.

Waiting weeks for a radiator to arrive, that’s understandable but I had to keep calling them and got a different person every time and a different excuse, no problem sometimes there are issues etc ..finally called in.. their attitude at the counter was unhelpful.. told me I had to wait for a person and that person was busy.. waited 20 mins and complained I was waiting and got told “well you can wait a bit longer”… won’t be buying anything here ever again. The lads seem under pressure and apologised in the end and I hate leaving a bad review but I was just annoyed with the whole process.
