The end result delivers Conbu,s excellent choices of tiles/bespoke joinery, pure elegance. I (Josephine Russell) together with my husband, Kieran O’Malley, engaged Angela Connolly, owner/manager of Conbu Interior Design, to design and manage the fit-out of our new build home and garden in Dundrum, Dublin 14. The project was challenging in that it took place during the latter stages of the Covid-19 pandemic when it was difficult to obtain the services of tradesmen and also the effect of Brexit caused difficulties in acquiring furnishings from the UK. From the beginning we felt comfortable working with Angela. Her professionalism, creativity, ability to take on board our particular likes/dislikes and relaxed personality all contributed to our sense of trust in her. Any concerns we had about the colour scheme and furnishings were allayed by Angela and in every case her ideas were proved right. Our decision to utilise the services of an interior designer and Angela Connolly of Conbu Interior Design in particular, has proved to be absolutely correct. Given the difficulties posed by the pandemic and Brexit it would have been extremely difficult for us to undertake this project on our own. Apart from Angela creating a superior design for our new build home and garden she undoubtedly saved us from making costly project mistakes. When we bought a house in Dublin and started planning the renovation project we haven’t had much ideas about what we are getting into. Especially as availability of renovation companies and tradesmen was in short supply (summer 2021). Angela and Conbu Design had made all the difference by giving us the right guidance, design, selecting and procuring materials. She was managing the whole project and supplied critical tradesmen to finish the project right in time. Worth to mention that wast majority of the work was happening while we were not in Dublin for various reasons. We can not imagine going though the whole project without Angela’s help. We are very grateful for her service and would definitely recommend to have her on her side when planning and executing the house renovation project.
