Staff very unpleasant and not professional. Not recommended

I want to thank everyone in dbl very hard workers and supportive people.I work hard myself and am a family man trying to make a life for my kids every time I go in I get a smile and a helpful greeting I want to thank everyone for going to work and doing a great job the best they can especially a young man Daniel who went through a lot to get what I needed to finish my job so thanks to all who work there if I could give 10 stars I would highly recommend dpl thanks

The staff were lovely, good humoured and very helpful, even carried the paint out to the car for me

Visited DPL on Tuesday 18/02/2025 went to front desk enquired about a kitchen worktop and I was directed to the counter which was fine. 3 men working behind the counter 2 were busy with customers the third refused eye contact so as he wouldn’t have to serve me so I waited. One of the other men became free and completely ignored me to serve a construction worker who said I was next, he called him to the counter again and the customer said again I was next , I went to the counter to ask about kitchen worktops to be told they are out the back when I stood looking at him he then said there is a few samples at the end of the counter he showed me where they were and walked away. I then went up to ask how much they were and what length a depth they had and also for kitchen taps to be met with a look of I was bothering him and told around the corner to the unmanned showroom. I left and went elsewhere got 2 worktops ceramic sink and taps extremely rude and unprofessional manner I wonder if I was male would I have been treated the same.
