What a journey! We started with a shell and Grainne helped us turn it into our home. We live in the US and Grainne took away all the stress working seamlessly with us and the local contractor She understood our style, the feel of the space. Grainne presented us with carefully considered choices of color, furniture, tile, lights, kitchen layout and cabinets, carpets and curtains even down to a large mirror perfectly positioned. Grainne did a wonderful job in in creating and implementing imaginative interior design solutions for my current home, an Edwardian redbrick in Dublin 6. When I bought it, the house felt dated but had clearly a lot of potential, retaining many of the original arts and crafts style features of its era. I was hopeful that the right interior design solutions would enhance the living environment while remaining sympathetic to its era. Grainne delivered on this to a level well beyond my expectations! Grainne showed creative imagination and vision in her design solutions. She has a great sense of colours and materials and uses available technology skilfully to model her various designs. She worked collaboratively with me, teasing out alternatives to ensure consensus and buy-in. I learned quickly to trust her instincts (she was never wrong!!)..but we didn’t proceed to implementation unless she was happy that I was comfortable with any proposal. Grainne works very efficiently and has great project management skills. Importantly, in the current environment, she is able to tap into a reliable network of craftspeople. Alternative quotes were sought where appropriate and costs were tightly managed. I was quite busy at the time, often away on business, but always felt comfortable that things were in safe hands with Gráinne The overall solution implemented by Grainne has led to a stunning transformation of my home.
