This review is not really about the Screwfix store, the staff or the product I purchased. It's about the incessant advertising I have had to endure since I reserved an item online to pick up instore. Since that day my phone has been bombarded with the advertisement of Mo Farah running around a screwfix store. To all at Screwfix in marketing and communications - I will no longer buy any products from you as I do not wish to be machine gunned with advertising on my phone - your campaign is counterproductive as you have lost me as a customer now. I don't want to see that advertisement 20 times a day. Also, please don't advertise 'FREE PICK UP IN STORE ' for products we pay for. Of course it's free. Also, once again, Irish version of UK originating stores are ripping off Irish people on a daily basis. Goodbye Screwfix.
The screwfix store in letterkenny is great and the staff are so kind and helpful.
For the service I received today from a fella called Tom, he went out of his way to help me get waste pipe , ordered it on the computer thing then went n put it all through, then when I got it I ordered the wrong size as he was making me aware , great personality great help friendly and actually felt as if I knew him in the time I was in there with him amazing staff screwfix letterkenny well done il definitely be back soon 👍
I've always had a positive experience in Screwfix Letterkenny. The staff are always helpful and friendly and there's a great selection of products. Parking can be tricky as the car park is tiny but there's a free car park next door which is probably the better option. Overall, a great place to shop.
Quick for purchasing, just give them the product codes and they fetch the items, like an Argos for DIY stuff. Staff were friendly. Only drawback is with out of stock items, they couldn't suggest alternatives, so had to quickly look up a few on their website via my phone to get more product codes to check.
