I went in looking for a simple item, a pvc door handle, this store looks like it's closing down the shop floor was empty.

Very friendly helpful staff. They arranged a delivery for the same day without extra pay.

On one of the hottest days of the summer I went in for rock salt. Their excellent online service told me they were the only ones in Galway who had it. Felt guilty as a cheerful and helpful young man used his fork lift expertly to find and retrieve the salt. Excellent service.

I handed in my list, timber for a see-saw for my Grandchildren, screws, drill bit a bolt plus decking to replace my old deck. Within 2 hours I had a quote, by phone and e-mail. The next day I went in and confirmed my order, with a slight change. I paid. 2 days later my delivery arrived. Everything was unloaded behind the house, out of view. My reason for 4 stars was that the bolt was the wrong kind and I couldn't get what I wanted. Also, they didn't have wooden drill bits larger than 20mm. The decking was 480mm long, not the usual 240 which suited me perfectly and it worked out at 50cent dearer per board than a rival company whose boards were only half the length. A great saving. When I went in with the wrong bolt, as they didn't have what I wanted, my money was refunded then and there.
