The Colour Library at Ted Johnsons

Aisling at the Colour Library was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. She made choosing paint colours and types, wallpaper, and accessories all very easy for us. We didn’t feel rushed and she took the time to answer the many questions we had. I would 100% recommend the Colour Library’s service.

I had a great consult with Aisling this weekend. she really helped me understand how to pick the correct paint for our new build home and work with the light. I wanted help to pick an off white to spray paint the whole house and for help to pick the colour scheme for our kitchen. we were able to achieve both. she followed up with a detailed email with all the options we picked and i'm looking forward to seeing what the sample look like in our space. will definitely be back, when decorating other rooms.

We couldn’t recommend Aisling enough. We opted for an in house 2.5 hour consultation. We are mid renovating our home and we’re struggling with colour options for kitchen/dining, living room, 4 bedrooms, an office and games room. Many tester pots later we decided we needed help. Aisling is a wealth of knowledge, has such a good eye for interiors and really listened to what we wanted. Within that consultation we picked paint colours for every room, woodwork and walls, and selected wallpapers. Aisling also sent on a detailed report of what we had discussed, outlining all the paint colours we chose, approx amount of paint needed and approx cost of paint. The consultation is money well spent, we only wish we did it sooner.

Aisling made the process very easy & enjoyable and gave me some great suggestions that I would never have thought of myself (eg. painting skirtings & architrave to make the room feel bigger, painting a kitchen reveal etc.). Not only did I get a colour palette for my house, we actually chose the colours for each room as part of the process which I’m delighted with, as it saves me having to get lots of different tester paints in order to decide. The next day, I received a lovely brochure-style summary detailing the colours chosen, recommended finishes & estimated volume of paint needed as well as a €50 voucher towards the cost of the paint. All in all, a fantastic service! I’m delighted I did it and would highly recommend!

I opted for the 90min in home consultation with Aisling & really enjoyed the experience. She is very friendly & calm & brought lots of wonderful suggestions to the consultation. I was looking for paint colours for six different rooms/areas within my house & thought I might be overwhelmed by making all the colour decisions during the consultation but Aisling really put me at ease throughout & I’m really happy with what we’ve pulled together. Would definitely recommend!
