Woodie's Coolock

I am not giving one star to this store lightly - large, well stocked and appealing store and also well frequented BUT they deliberately do not provide a ‘Customer Toilet ‘ facility . They have a customer toilet but it’s permanently closed since Covid. They tell you to use Costa cafe across the car park. . This is a serious management issue that needs to be addressed ! Open up the customer Toilet Facility please !!!!!!

Prices are ridiculous when it comes to home improvements, many other places doing better value of supplies. Can o lay recommend if you have no choice to pay the highway robbery prices on paints and materials.

Was here yesterday for the fist time in over a year and I was pleasantly surprised with the layout and cleanliness of the shop. Staff were on hand to help and everything was fairly easy to find for such a big store. No complaints, good experience.

Woodie’s in Coolock offers a fantastic range of products, making it a great place to find almost anything you need for home improvement, gardening, or DIY projects. It’s owned by an Irish company, which adds to its local charm and sense of community. The store has the advantage of a large, free car park, making shopping here very convenient. The staff are generally helpful and friendly, although sometimes they might not have all the information on certain products — but they do their best to assist. There is also security on site, which gives a sense of safety, even if the security guard can come across as a bit unusual at times. Overall, it’s a handy, well-stocked store with plenty of choice and easy access.

😁I absolutely love this woodies. They are well stocked so items bought online are usually available and can be picked up here. All my plants bought from here are in excellent condition. My syringa vulgaris grew to c. 1.5m in about 4 months and I expect, will bloom luciously next year. All from a mere 30cm leafless branches. My hybrid roses bought 1 month ago are well estabilished, healthy and in full bloom. Couldn't be more satisfied!
